So I just joined this network for a course I have, online PR. I have never before been interested in blogs let alone know how they work. But, as I learn more, it seems kind of interesting that anyone in the world can see my thoughts and comment on them, and then other people can comment on those, like an ongoing chain. I’m not really into the whole online thing. I have facebook and I use MSN, but that’s about it. No blogging, making websites, etc. But I guess if I’m going to be a PR grad in about 4 months I better get used to these things!
You sound somewhat resigned to exploring the social media space further. I hope you’ll find over the next few months that it presents useful possibilities to PR practitioners looking for ways to reach or engage their audiences. Welcome to blogging.
